30 Years of Experience

Alternative Fuels technology and Waymark Strategists, Inc. continue to be a partnership of rigorous client research collaboration into various fields of alternative fuels initiatives, investments, and project management assignments. We explore efforts in: ethanol, methanol, natural gas (compressed & liquefied), bio-mass, hydrogen/fuel cells, coal shale/oil sands extraction, and solar developments. New advances in cellulosic bio-fuels technology has further become one of this scientific field's areas of R&D, beyond the scope of corn-based ethanol fuels technology. And we are at the forefront of this international research.

One of Waymark-founder Greg Hallberg's deep and abiding passions, as well as extensive career experiences, has involved various forms of energy & power. And in the last 20 years of work, renewable energy, especially in the transportation and mobile equipment sectors. With decades of international expertise in energy & propulsion systems, he has worked with companies ranging from all of the major automakers in Korea, Japan, Germany, and the United States to academic research institutions and government agencies. His travels have also taken him to South America, Europe, and Asia to work with many of the leading energy companies in over 15 nations.

Several of Waymark's most recent client studies have involved extensive reviews and analysis/bernchmarking of alternative fuels technology in China and North Asia, with an emphasis on ethanol production and bio-mass, also commonly referred to as biodiesel. This exhaustive 2-year study took the Waymark team all over China, Japan, and South Korea to explore the Asia-Pacific Region's attempts at building an ethanol-bio-mass production infrastructure. From corn resources, to non-grain raw materials, and agricultural management, to refinery facilities and finished product distribution, Waymark successfully completed this project with tremendous insight into the entire global crop-based, refined fuels industry.

The Global Market and Business Development Strategy Deployment

No one can possibly grasp what is going on in every location, at every minute, on each product line or project. Someone has to be the "eyes and ears" for the HQ team, as well as becoming the sales & divisional operations information conduit within the company, while knowing what is taking place in diverse markets every minute of every day. An ideal goal that asks: "What Does Good Look Like?"

It's important to understand both the company & your competition, as well as regional and geo-political issues.
