Arc Flash & EMC Shielding Design Fundamentals
As things become increasingly expedited, site chores’ lead times are compressed into impossible deadlines, and the global nature of the workplace takes on new perspectives, safety issues and accident prevention are at the back of many operations’ thinking – unfortunately. This does not have to be the case, and this program is designed to save lives, prevent disabling injuries, and prevent damage to facilities, as well as the equipment and product contained within them.
We learn about personal safety issues working around electrical systems with proper identification given to electrical hazards, and what it takes to become a qualified on-site worker. Work practices are examined, lockout/tagout procedures recommended, safety standards, and human body & equipment damage that can occur when exposure to electrical voltage or substandard installation make this class an absolute must for any maintenance program.
