A new global corporation

More HQ work is being (should be) done by ever-expanding international operations, to develop a decentralized decision-making platform, not top-down centralization of management.

As more functions are outsourced, and as more rapid, well-versed decisions need to be made, Waymark Strategists consulting services provide that "check-and-balance" approach.

Waymark Perspective

Bridging East and West

Our Approach

Waymark Strategists and Waymark Engineering approaches clients and their projects with the understanding that no two companies or challenges are the same. Our vast experience in Asia-Pacific allows us to fully understand a client's needs in the region and how to approach a solution based on the background knowledge of the organization. There is no cookie-cutter method that a client's problem is forced into. Rather, a custom approach tailored to your organization and your concerns is created to efficiently administer an optimized solution.

How We Do It

Waymark employs a "go-team" approach to resolving our clients' issues. Once the scope of the client's work is assessed, a mobile team is assembled with the appropriate experience, training and technical skill set necessary to create and implement solutions quickly and efficiently. These teams are assembled from our network of associates throughout Asia-Pacific, so the best people are assembled for your project, not just whoever is in the "local office." These teams supplant themselves anywhere your organization needs them. This approach benefits our clients by keeping the best people on-site as needed to create the best solution as quickly and efficiently as possible. Many solutions cannot be discovered from behind a desk in an office at the top of a tall office building. We believe boots-on-the-ground exposure is what differentiates Waymark from other organizations, and ultimately gives our clients the best product at the best value.

What is the "Bridge"

There are vast cultural differences between the West (United States and Europe) and the East (All of Asia-Pacific). Although East and West have done business for centuries, there has always been a disconnect between the cultures. This is not to say either culture is better or than the other. In fact, Westerners who understand the East highly respect the culture and how they conduct business. The same is true of Easterners who understand the West. What Waymark excels at is understanding the disconnect that naturally occurs between these two vastly different cultures and helps an organization "bridge" the two cultures. This means different things for different organizations, but Waymark has the experience and the knowledge to maximize success.
